We propose a comprehensive framework to analyse the current situation of people with Down syndrome and to project the main challenges and opportunities for the next 5 to 10 years. Through these lines of work, we seek to promote more inclusive and equitable societies that respect rights and encourage the active participation of people with Down syndrome in every area of life.

The future of human rights

We will look at the current state of implementation of the rights of people with Down syndrome, the gaps between legislation and its effective application, and the promotion of their active participation in decision-making and in the shaping of public policy.
